Treat Your Mum at Wicken Fen

Mothering Sunday (14th March) is the perfect time to say thankyou to your mum for all her love, dedication and hard work throughout the year …. why not treat your mum to a very special Mothering Sunday High Tea at Wicken Fen Nature Reserve.

Wicken Fen Catering Manager, Anita Escott, is planning a special treat for mums with a delicious high tea of sandwiches, scones and a selection of Wicken's renowned home made cakes.

"As a mother of four I know just how hard mums work throughout the year, so I want all those special mums to be treated like royalty and to enjoy a really good old fashioned British High Tea with their loved ones", said Anita.

To work up an appetite why not enjoy a spring walk around the fen. For active mums there is the Nature and Adventurers Trails, whilst the Boardwalk Trail around sedge fen is ideal for a gentle stroll before sitting down to a sumptuous tea.

Mothering Sunday High Tea is being served from 1pm on Sunday 14 March, priced at £10 adults and £6 children. Advance reservations essential - tel 01353 720274.
