Come and talk

We're holding public meetings around the area to give local people an opportunity to get an update on progress about the vision. Hear a presentation about the Wicken Fen Vision, ask any questions you have and meet National Trust staff after the meetings.

Science on Saturday: Wicken Fen comes to town
You'll never guess how many different species live at Wicken Fen. A hundred? A thousand? No... amazingly, Wicken Fen's home to more than 7,000 species! Find out about the animals, birds, insects and plants that live at Wicken Fen, and what makes this corner of Cambridgeshire such a special place. Plus, win FREE tickets to Wicken Fen or Anglesey Abbey.

Wicken Fen: the science behind the vision
Scientists from the National Trust and the University examine the science behind the Wicken Fen Vision. From carbon sequestration in reinvigorated peat soils to managing important habitats on a landscape scale, this project touches on many contemporary issues in science and society.
