The longer warmer days of spring are here and life is bursting out across the fen.

Listen out for 'booming' Bitterns or the first cuckoo of spring. Gaze out from the Tower Hide to see herons nesting in the trees by the mere or watch reed warblers build their intricate nests in the reeds along Wicken Lode. See the stunning display of Wicken's stunning wild flowers including the rare marsh pea and early marsh and southern marsh orchids.
